Working closely with the HR Manager, you will be a key point of contact for the workforce \u2014 handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll inputs, and ensuring the unit stays fully compliant with Angolan labour law. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced industrial environment, ideal for someone who is organised, discreet, and comfortable operating on the shop floor as well as in the office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Recruitment &amp; onboarding<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational and administrative roles: job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate onboarding and induction for new hires, including documentation, workstation setup, and orientation on plant safety and policies.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring industrial roles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Payroll &amp; records<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, verify, and process monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, leave, absences) in coordination with Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and personnel files.<\/li>\n<li>Track working hours, shifts, and time-and-attendance data for the industrial unit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Labour law &amp; compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all employment contracts, procedures, and practices comply with Angolan labour law.<\/li>\n<li>Manage statutory obligations, including INSS registrations and contributions, and support relations with relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Advise line managers on disciplinary procedures, leave entitlements, and contract terms in line with legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>General HR support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support employee relations and act as a first point of contact for staff queries.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with HR reporting and keep documentation audit-ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role requires full-time on-site presence, including availability outside standard working hours to respond to operational needs.<\/li>\n<li>Degree or technical qualification in Human Resources, Management, Law, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>4\u20138 years of HR experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.<\/li>\n<li>Solid working knowledge of Angolan labour law and INSS procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with payroll inputs and HR administration.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Primavera ERP is mandatory.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).<\/li>\n<li>Fluent Portuguese and English (both mandatory).<\/li>\n<li>Based in or willing to relocate to the Catete \/ Icolo e Bengo area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A key role in building the HR function of a growing industrial operation.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive, experience-based compensation.<\/li>\n<li>Professional development in a dynamic manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send your CV to <strong><a href=\"mailto:info@piadvisory.net\">info@piadvisory.net<\/a><\/strong> by <strong>21 July 2026<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<em>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HR Executive Assistant \u2014 Industrial Unit (Catete) \u00a0 Location: Industrial Unit, Catete, Angola (on-site) Reports to: HR Manager \/ Plant Manager Employment type: Full-time, on-site \u00a0<span class=\"excerpt-hellip\"> [\u2026]<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":617,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-616","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.4 -
