Key responsibilities
Recruitment & onboarding

- Coordinate onboarding and induction for new hires, including documentation, workstation setup, and orientation on plant safety and policies.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for recurring industrial roles.
Payroll & records
- Collect, verify, and process monthly payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, leave, absences) in coordination with Finance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and personnel files.
- Track working hours, shifts, and time-and-attendance data for the industrial unit.
Labour law & compliance
- Ensure all employment contracts, procedures, and practices comply with Angolan labour law.
- Manage statutory obligations, including INSS registrations and contributions, and support relations with relevant authorities.
- Advise line managers on disciplinary procedures, leave entitlements, and contract terms in line with legislation.
General HR support
- Support employee relations and act as a first point of contact for staff queries.
- Assist with HR reporting and keep documentation audit-ready.
Requirements
- The role requires full-time on-site presence, including availability outside standard working hours to respond to operational needs.
- Degree or technical qualification in Human Resources, Management, Law, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of HR experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Solid working knowledge of Angolan labour law and INSS procedures.
- Experience with payroll inputs and HR administration.
- Proficiency in Primavera ERP is mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Fluent Portuguese and English (both mandatory).
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Catete / Icolo e Bengo area.
What we offer
- A key role in building the HR function of a growing industrial operation.
